Walton Hall

The mansion is Elizabethan in style, but was actually built in the 1830's, as the family home of Gilbert GreenallThe hall, which was built between 1836 and 1838, is supposedly haunted by the ghost of Lady Daresbury, which has been spotted on the staircase,There have been paranormal sightings within the Walton Hall and the grounds and it is said that the spirit of Lady Daresbury is said to haunt her old bedroom. The sounds of a lady crying are often heard by staff coming from the upstairs rooms. Ghosts of children play in empty rooms and are often heard running around the building.
