Can I use photographic and filming equipment on an event?

Ghost Adventures welcome you to use any equipment that you wish, and would be happy, with your permission, to publish any finding ie photographic evidence on our website.

Will refreshments be provided on the event?

Light refreshments including hot drinks will be availible throughout all our events. On certain events meals maybe provided, please see the individual events for details.

How long before the start of the event, do I need to arrive?

You need to aim to arrive at the location at least 10 minutes before the event is due to start. If however you are running late, if you can contact us on 07974313787, depending on your expected arrival time we may be able to wait for you to arrive.

Will i be made to do any experiment i don’t want to do ?

We will NOT allow under any circumstances let any member of staff or any fellow guest make anybody do anything they don’t want to do,we understand that some people are a little apprehensive about certain investigative methods eg; ouija boards & seances ,we ask that all attending the events respect this ,we also ask at the start of each event for everybody to respect each others limmits and beliefs.

Can i drink alcohol before or during the event ?

No!!!

What do I need to bring?

Here is a list of what you will need , and what to expect on our ghost hunts !

  • Torch – unless you can see in the dark this is the most important tool in a ghost hunters kit .
  • Camara – with plenty of memory space or film, handy for picking up images that you cant see  with the naked eye
  • Video camara  – with spare discs or tape, so if something paranormal happens you can check back for evidence
  • Good footwear and warm clothing – Sometimes ghost hunting consists of a bit of walking or standing ,this could be also in some unpleasent place that may be cold or damp
  • spare batteries – Its always handy having spare batteries in a haunted location, as you will find they drain a lot quicker in some locations, (this is said to be considered paranormal) always bring spare batteries for both torches and camaras as you dont want to run out as something paranormal could happen at any moment.

What will happen on the ghost hunt?

Sometimes people go on ghost hunts fully expecting to see a ghost. Unfortunately ghosts and spirits are not performing monkeys. We have alot of respect for the dead, and sometimes they want to do it sometimes they don’t – a lot depends on the energy at the time. On the night will give an energy work shop with the medium to increase the chances of having  paranormal activity. This we find works very well.

Will you make me jump?

“UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE MAKE FAKE SOUNDS, JUMP OUT ON GUESTS, OR HAVE ANY GIMMICKS ON ANY OF OUR EVENTS AT ANY TIME ”

The team at Ghost Adventures take ghost hunting very serious and want all our guests have a genuine experience , not only does the above  spoil the event but effects the teams chances of getting some good footage also of anything that could be paranormal.

When trying to contact the spirits we would ask them to show themselves or communicate with us by making noises, bangs, lights, flashes, or even effect our guests by touching them or talking to them, thats not to say tho that seeing a ghost or an entity doesn’t happen and we have had lots of guests who have found this out for themselves

What equipment is used?

We do experiments on our ghost hunts using modern tech like EMF readers, night vision goggles, voice recorders, franks boxes (white noise) digital thermometers, etc.

We also use old fashioned ways like table tipping, glass moving, calling out, seances, vigils, ouji boards, dowsing and other methods of contacting the after life , we are very aware that some guests may worry about taking part in different activities to contact the dead “this is normal” We do not expect any of our guests to take part in anything they dont want to do at all and “NO” member of our team will try to pressure any guest to do so ! We pride ourselves in giving our guests the night they want and will do are upmost to do this, after all it is your ghost hunt .

HAPPY HUNTING !!!!!!!
